Is there an A/B testing tool that predicts which tests will win before I launch them?
Yes. Apex by DRIP scores every test idea before you build it, so you launch the tests that are likely to win first. Here is how the score works and which other tools predict.
Yes. Apex by DRIP predicts which tests are likely to win before they go live. Every test idea gets a Likelihood to Win, built on one of the largest A/B test databases in e-commerce: 4.3 million A/B tests from 151,000 shops, collected since 2011. You build the ideas at the top of the list first.
01How does Apex predict which test will win?
Apex looks at how similar tests ended across its 4.3 million A/B tests and combines that with your shop: expected revenue impact, how easy the change is to build and how noticeable it is. The result is one score per idea.
One idea, one score, and what builds it (Gymshark demo shop).
The score ranks an idea against your own backlog. It is not a win probability in the strict sense: it tells you which test to build first. In the vendor’s holdout check, the top third of ideas within a shop won 1.4 to 1.6 times as often.
02What does a shop get from the prediction?
A ranked backlog. Instead of testing in the order ideas came in, you build the ones that are likely to win first and skip the ones that look weak, before anyone spends design or development time on them.
Your backlog, ranked by the score.
03Which other A/B testing tools predict results?
Kameleoon’s PBX Ideate scores ideas with a model its vendor says was trained on more than 20,000 experiments. Varify suggests ideas from its test patterns. Tools that shift traffic to the leader while a test runs are not predicting before launch.

No. The prediction decides which tests to run first. The test on your traffic still decides what wins on your shop.

Yes. Add your ideas to the Apex backlog, by typing, pasting a list or uploading a file, and each one gets its score.
Book a call with the team and tell us about your shop. We'll talk through where it stands, where you want it to go, and how we'd get you there. If working with us isn't the best return on your money, we'd tell you rather than take it.
